Active Mobility Center operates under a Florida corporation of South Florida Mobility, Inc.  We have been serving the Florida community since 1992, offering the sales, service and rentals of life enhancing equipment.  We assist clients achieve or regain their independence and mobility.  We pride ourselves with supplying the correct equipment which matches each individuals needs.  We try to learn about our potential clients, to get the "whole picture" about their needs.

Carey J. Britton, A.T.S. C.R.T.S.

Carey has been with the company since its inception in June of 1992, where he began working as a service technician.  He took on the role as Service Manager and RTS (rehab technology supplier); and has been certified as an Assistive Technology Supplier, and Certified Rehab Technolgy Supplier.  Carey relocated to Florida from New York in 1988.  Carey's passion is his ability to Maximize the abilities of his clients.

Benay Britton, Office Manager

Benay is Carey's mother and has been with the company from it's inception in 1992.  Benay answers phones, works with clients in the showroom, and answers insurance questions.  Benay works with the entire staff with scheduling assessments, service, delivery and follow up appointments.

Debra Britton, Office / Insurance

Debra, (Carey's wife) has been helping out part-time in the office since Ashley was born in 2002.  She helps out answering phones, and helps direct calls to the best person suited to answer the question.  She bills Insurance claims, and helps with general office activities.

Robert Bowman, Service Technician / Rehab

Robert comes to Active Mobility with a wealth of knowledge with seating, mobility, and other mechanical/technical abilities.  Robert spent a number of years with the United Cerebral Palsy center as their assistive technology specialist (making what ever was needed).  Robert is very caring and tries to do everything possible to help people maximize their abilities.  I'm sure you will agree he is very capable and will listen to your needs.

Craig Flynn, ATS

Craig comes to Active Mobility with knowledge in DME, Seating and Mobility.  Craig has worked for more than five (5) other DME companies in capacities of Driver, Technician, Warehouse Manager, and Rehab Technician.

Heather SanCartier, Office / Insurance

Heather has relocated to Florida from Michigan, where she worked in a DME company providing customer service, and helping customers with their insurance needs. We are happy to have her working with us to improve our ability to service our customers.

Ashley E. Britton, "THE BOSS"

Ashley is our little helper....She comes into the office in the afternoons to help out with anyone looking for a pair of little hands.  She can drive a scooter,and drive a powered wheelchair.  She turned five (6) in July.  She loves to sing and dance. She has begun First Grade this year.

Stephanie Oulton, Office / Insurance

Stephanie has been with Active since 2008 and has been a great asset to our company and its customers.  Stephanie has been working hard to create a more organized way to track and alert customers as to the progress of their equipment.  We are happy to have her working with us to improve the quality of services to our customers.

Chris Gates, Service Technician

Chris has been with Active Mobility Center since 2009.  Chris comes to Active with a wealth of knowledge as he has been in the DME industry for the past two decades.  He has a motorcycle background and is very capable to meet all your service needs.
